Role Overview:
We're looking for a highly experienced Paid Search Specialist eager to make a tangible impact. In this leadership position, you will take the lead on complex Paid Search campaigns for key clients, consistently exceeding targets and delivering measurable outcomes. Your strategic insights and data-driven approach will make you a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complexities of paid search. Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic lead for assigned key clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships built on trust and mutual success.
Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business goals, target audiences, and competitive landscapes to formulate tailored and effective Paid Search strategies.
Proactively communicate campaign performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to clients through regular meetings, presentations, and detailed reports.
Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling relevant services, and demonstrating the value of Paid Search within the broader marketing mix.
Manage client expectations effectively, address any concerns promptly and professionally, and ensure client satisfaction.
Paid Search Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive Paid Search strategies across relevant platforms, including campaign structure, keyword research, audience targeting, ad copy creation, and bidding strategies.
Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-performing and relevant search terms.
Oversee the creation and optimisation of compelling ad copy and landing page experiences to maximise conversion rates and quality scores.
Implement and manage sophisticated bidding strategies to achieve optimal ROI and efficiency.
Stay ahead of the latest trends, algorithm updates, and new features within paid search platforms.
Performance Monitoring, Analysis & Reporting:
Utilize platform analytics (e.g., Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising), as well as third-party tools, to meticulously monitor campaign performance and identify areas for optimisation.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract actionable insights and provide clear, concise, and insightful performance reports to clients.
Identify and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign effectiveness.
Develop and present performance reports that clearly communicate results, progress against goals, and strategic recommendations for future actions.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including SEO, social media, and content specialists, to ensure integrated and holistic marketing strategies.
Potentially mentor and guide junior Paid Search team members, sharing knowledge, best practices, and contributing to their professional development.
Contribute to the development of internal processes, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the Paid Search team.
New Business and Pitching:
Contribute to new business development efforts, including participating in pitches and presentations.
Develop and present compelling Paid Search strategies to potential clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Contribute to the creation of proposals and pitch decks.
Required Skills & Experience:
Significant proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a dedicated Paid Search role, with a strong focus on account management and client interaction.
Deep and demonstrable understanding of Paid Search principles, techniques, and best practices across major platforms (Google Ads essential, Microsoft Advertising desirable).
Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing Paid Search strategies that have delivered significant and measurable results for clients, including achieving ROI targets and business objectives.
Strong proficiency in using industry-standard Paid Search platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Microsoft Advertising, Google Tag Manager).
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients at all levels.
Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and campaigns simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
A proactive, results-oriented, and client-focused approach with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with other paid media platforms (e.g., social media advertising, display advertising).
Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and tools.
Experience with bid management platforms and automation tools.
Google Ads certifications.
